Japan’s Partnership With India Enhances Domestic Production

Doing Business in India India’s economic reform has accelerated in the past two years, with barriers being knocked down to promote foreign direct investment (FDI). This in turn is encouraging Indian business partnerships with leading multinationals of the world. Along with policy changes, the government is focussing on improving the “Ease of Doing Business” in India, and it appears to be succeeding, as reflected in its rankings in a benchmark index of the World Bank.

With infrastructure playing an integral role in expanding the manufacturing sector, the setting up of industrial corridors; smart cities empowered with state-of-art technology and high speed communication systems have assumed critical importance as part of the primary objective to scale up India’s developmental programmes.
