Divided Nations: Why Global Governance is Failing and what we can do about it?

42

The purpose of the author, Ian Goldin, is stated forthrightly in the title itself, Why Global Governance is Failing and What We Can Do About It. Goldin has creditably condensed in this book the 21st century’s challenges and imperatives facing the international community.
The challenges he has taken up are namely vulnerability to financial crisis, pandemics and cyber attack and the dangers inherent in collective failure to deal with migration and climate change. He admits at the outset skipping some other challenges such as nuclear proliferation.
